The Climate Reality Project
Founded by former Vice President Gore in 2005, The Climate Reality Project (formerly the Alliance for Climate Protection) is a non-profit organization devoted to solving the climate crisis. Through grassroots leadership trainings, global media events, digital communications and issue campaigns, Climate Reality works to spread the truth and raise awareness about the climate crisis. Today, Vice President Gore serves as chairman and works with the organization to promote awareness of the ongoing dangers posed by global warming pollution and solutions to climate change.
To promote global action, Climate Reality brings millions of people together to demand their leaders embrace solutions to the climate crisis. From the ranks of thousands of Climate Reality Leaders to professional skiers and snowboarders who joined the I AM PRO SNOW campaign, to thousands of young people around the world who lent their voices to Why? Why Not?, to the hundreds of thousands of Americans who demanded stronger carbon regulations from the EPA , Climate Reality is dedicated to supporting climate action around the world.

Climate Reality Leadership Corps
The Climate Reality Leadership Corps is an international network of grassroots activists that takes great leaders from communities around the world and makes them exceptional. This network harnesses the power of peer-to-peer communication to help tackle the urgent challenge of global warming. Through leadership trainings hosted by former Vice President Gore, along with experts in science and communications, Climate Reality Leaders gain a keen understanding of climate science and develop the communications and organizing tools they need to inspire action in their schools, neighborhoods and workplaces.
Since 2006, the Climate Reality Leadership Corps has held 39 trainings in locations around the world, including Australia, Brazil, China, India, the Philippines, South Africa, Turkey and the United States. Today, the Climate Reality Leadership Corps network вЂ“ including teachers, students, scientists, parents, government officials and business leaders – has empowered groups to win the climate conversation in more than 152 countries.
24 Hours of Reality
24 Hours of Reality is a live, global, multi-media event hosted by The Climate Reality Project. During the annual 24-hour event, former Vice President Gore is joined by dozens of fellow activists, leaders, entertainers and scientists to raise awareness of the costs of the climate crisis and to highlight the solutions at our fingertips. By dedicating a full day to climate change, 24 Hours of Reality serves as an important message guidepost for the world, making climate change a personal priority and turning audiences into activists.
On December 4-5, former Vice President Al Gore and Climate Reality will host the global broadcast event 24 Hours of Reality: Be the Voice of Reality, featuring 24 hours of inspiring stories, live musical performances, and thought-provoking conversations with an all-star cast of thought leaders, scientists, business visionaries, and community voices. The program highlights the extraordinary climate activism happening all around the world as millions of everyday men and women, businesses, communities, and even governments join the fight to solve the climate crisis, calling on each of us to be the voice of reality and speak up to protect the planet we share.
